“What is striking is how complete her musical voice feels; she led her orchestra with complete assurance.”

About Us

During lockdown, clarinettist & composer Emma Johnson MBE wrote a clarinet concerto entitled Tree of Life, which was inspired by a need to express something in music about the climate crisis. The piece had its first performance in the Kentish village of Lamberhurst, played by a hand-picked team of like-minded musicians, and this led to many more performances throughout the UK.
